Travels & Kurugadde

Sripada, is the divine Lord who draws the whole of mankind towards divinity. He is the Kamadhenu of Kaliyug. By just remembering his name, all the difficulties get burnt down to ashes. Considering the whole of creation as his family, he from his 16th year itself, traveled the world over, resolving the difficulties and distress of the devotees. Starting from his birth place, he visits Kashi, Gokarna and many more places where he bestows his divine vision and blessings to his devotees. Later, he settles in Kurugadde of Raichur district in Karnataka. Kurugadde, the island constructed by river Krishna is the place of penance of Sripada Srivallabha. Sripada, after guiding and bestowing grace to devotees in many ways, disappeared into the Krishna river thus ending that incarnation.

Appa, with thousands of devotees, has visited this divine place more than forty to fifty times. During the month of Karthika, decorating the temple with thousands of lamps, he has grandly conducted the palanquin procession of Sripada.

Divya Charitamrutam & Dodderi worship

In the year 2007, under Dodderi Sri Kanneshwara publication, “Sripada Srivallabha Divya Charitamrutam” got published in Kannada language for the first time ever. Because this redemptive biography is a divine scripture, revered Appaji has conveyed good wishes and blessed the devotees asking them to read it with the intention of getting emancipated. In Sri Kshetra Dodderi ashram, in his enchanting form, Sripadavallabha Mahaswami is receiving worship with divine decoration. Shouldering the burden of the devotees, burning their sins of many lives, engaging the devotees in the contemplation of the Lord, making them live a simple life, is marching them ahead in the royal path of righteousness.
